Preschool & Kindergarten Social Skills Groups

Help your little one improve and practice social skills in a caring environment under the guidance of one of our highly-qualified, friendly & energetic Behavioral Consultants.


These one hour per week daytime groups are designed for our youngest clients faced with speech or developmental delay, social anxiety, Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, or those who may need extra support and reassurance socially.

Our Preschool-Kindergarten Group Goals will be to

  • Improve social communication skills with peers including greetings, conversation, play, and cooperation
  • Increase independence in a group including increasing attention, participation and self-monitoring
  • Improve play skills like turn taking in structured games; responding to winning/losing; waiting;  playing appropriately in unstructured social play
  • Build recognition of nonverbal communication, such as identifying emotions, body language and maintain appropriate personal body space
  • Improve coping skills in social environments


Groups will be conducted by Behavioral Consultant Stephanie Zerrillo-Greco, M.Ed., under the supervision of Dr. Janet Hansen.

  • Teaching methods based on principles and procedures of ABA
  • Progress toward individual goals provided in writing and feedback offered quarterly.
  • Typical peers and siblings often included at no additional cost.
  • Services may be covered by your county board of developmental disabilities. Please check.
